Hello! Welcome back to ye old Blog. It's a pleasure to have you here, reading my updates and words I've got to share ✨

Since last touching base here, I have been axe to the grind of the stone of life. I've had a lot pickup in workload, passion projects and their fruition. Clients starting bigger projects of tattooing, clients cancelling last minute and not giving a F**K about it (c'est la vie) , sketches being sketched, music events of a lifetime occurring, reunions with friends as well as fall outs with others.

Amongst it all, I'm happy and grateful to say we together (by we, I mean ANY legend that purchased a Knocked Goose Charity shirt) raised $1000 for Happily Heifer After Animal Rescue (HHA). Michelle at HHA is inspiring beyond belief with her dedication in care and rehabilitation to those without voices of animals in dire need.

HHA is constantly over coming new & unforeseen hurdles as they provide paramount care to all those within their family, if you'd like to help in anyway you can or stay updated on the amazing work HHA are constantly provinding, please visit ;

Help & support of any kind Is appreciated more than can be described. The HHA Animal rescue & sanctuary is running very dry at the moment with no rain recently coming through. This means more & more Hay is being given out each day for the hungry HHA residents and any financial help this Sanctuary can receive at this time is hugely appreciated.

To carry on in the spirit of raising awareness of HHA, I'm stoked to share my studio & tattoo home (Owned & operated by the gold of heart, Dan & Kim) are collaborating with HHA to run a Flash Day November 9th (save the date) in which there will be many amazing tattooers with many designs available to be tattooed of which all the money will be donated to Happily Heifer After Animal Rescue. To wrap a bow on the whole, Knocked Goose Tee's, I'd like to thank;

Ben H, Ben K, Julie C, Sam J, Jubb, Renae O, Sarah E, Kerri N, Kirsty Benno, Jem, Isaac M, Corey P & legendary client and supporter, Emma M for all buying a Knocked Goose shirt/s while they were in pre-order raising money for HHA.

I had huge dramas with Milton Post Office this past week with them losing my stock, but that's all been sorted & amended. I'll be going live Monday for anyone who wants to join as I press & pack everyone's remaining shirt orders.

Lastly on this, I want to give a HUGE special thanks to;

Kai & Asheby 🖤, our beautiful boi Lucas. They had the biggest orders and donated as well.

The bloke with the biggest order of Knocked Geese Tees who I'd like to give the spotlight & hugest thanks to is, my Dad! Massive shouts out to my Father; Tony Alston.

For those who don't know, my Dad is a fixture & local legend of sorts in our Hometown of Townsville, mostly due to his position at the local markets in which he sells his sketches, paintings as originals and as well, prints on T-shirts. He drives pretty great distances when can as well to feature and appear at different interstate exhibitions and across Queensland, which is amazing for himself and us (his family) to bear witness to.

Recently his truck (the lungs of his operation as an artist showing and selling his wares), has just suffered a brutal breakdown & his clutch (amongst other things) are now completely f***ed. This is a very new, recent development and isn't great for him in anyway shape or form.

My Dad is retired, he is Senior, he isn't in a position in which he can fix the truck and us, his remaining family, can't really financially contribute too much anytime soon with life being financially exhausting for us all. We're trying to figure a way to help him, We've considered gofundme but not sure how to approach that or even if it would help at all.

I think we've decided we'd like to setup an online store & raise awareness for his art and wares through there to see if that can help at all with things. It seems daunting to bring into fruition with everything going on right now, but it's on my mind heavy currently. So if you're a Townsville local reading this, or someone whom is familiar with my Dad and his art, any sales he can get right now would help loads for him, as I don't think he can do the markets until his truck is fixed.

Ending on a more playful tone; I wanna mention Silent Hill F. So, I haven't really been able to game at all this passed year with how hard the hustle & grind has been. Recently I felt that for me to avoid spoilers, I'd have to make time with Silent Hill F upon its release date as soon as it came out. I made time in which there wasn't before and so far, I am LOVING it. I'm like 3 quarter way through at the time of making this blog, and I've got a massive workload ahead but I'd really like to finish it by Halloween. The game is beyond inspiring with it's art assets, design and visual representation (I hope by writing these words I can hold myself accountable to this), I'll definitely have to sketch some design ideas & concepts available for tattooing from this latest Silent Hill franchise addition.
