Part 1/ 2025 highlights ✏️

(This is my narration and context for the carousels I just posted on Instagram)

I got to really chip away this year at my goals in upskilling with an Artisan approach to my designwork. It's such a pleasure to study references of my favourite things, like Jane Doe by Boston Hardcore legends, Converge 🖤 The second slide you'll see on this Insta carousel is more Jane Doe Converge I got use in an experiment in merchandising High Quality, AS Colour winter Jackets this year.

On the third slide is one of my favourite hand crafted pieces of the year, the Low Poly gang I made for 2025's Old Soul Flash Day. Next on the carousel, is a shot of the concept sketch and video of probably my favourite tattoo pieces of the year, done on good friend and appreciated client, Kat 💪🏻🙏🏻❤️‍🔥

Next is a shot of a concept sketch, of which will be part of bigger piece I'll be creating in the New Year, of Evil Dead & this section being Ash's Motherfuggin' chainsaw rising from a tide of BLOOD 😤🧟‍♂️ Side by side in it's next slide is my biggest experiments in DTF pressings this passed year, of my Grinch shirt & Knocked Goose design of which I feel are both great achievements from 2025.

Some more pencil studies from this year I'm proud to have finished are showcased in these next slides. These are all for in-progress, large scale tattoos on clients in all different stages of completion. Regardless, I'm stoked I got to build these designs this year & study the subjects ✏️ Including the anatomy which I think I'm leaving in the past for now, however it was a great experience to navigate through while I was on 2025's grind

The following slides all range from an Ibis design idea I had to sketch out so it would get out of my head. A favourite shot of a finished healed tattoo on Dr Ryan, some merch I made that I thought looked cool side by side, old prints I made which are now hung up at our new shirt printing space.

The records here are some of my soundtracks from this year as I've managed to resurface all my vinyl ❤️‍🔥 I am SO fucking excited to see Abbath this year 🥵🍻

Part 2/ 2025 shots of life ❤️‍🔥

For anyone who doesn't know (not like it's important) but a while ago, my instagram I always had got wiped, and I couldn't even use the app on my phone. So for ages, I didn't film anything at gigs I went to. there was no reason to film, because I couldn't post it, and I didn't wanna go back through my phone and watch old footage, I wanted to live it in the moment.

I'm writing this because I really wanted to show some shots of the cool AF gigs I went to this year, but I haven't got really any, which is whatever, but what I've got, it looks like I've posted. I had to include the video of Dying Fetus in this latest Insta post, how they pull of such an enormous stage presence as a three piece is just so epic. I also included a blurry shot I took of Portal this year, what is that he's wearing on his head? If you haven't seen Portal, you gotta change that asap if that's your thing, the tone, sound & gimmick is out of this world and off it's head

I've showcased in this last insta post some more shots we got this year from our first set of photos of our band SlickDexia, shot by HUGE talent and supporter of the local scene, Ben (on Insta as @cel.uhhhh , smash the follow on his page asap if you don't already ) They came out SO sick & I'm still very stoked & grateful for their result and the experience. In this band SlickDexia, we have now also rescued kittens together from being trapped under our rehearsal space (how adorable are they 🥺). Next is a not so glamorous shot of what I bring to the table at this rehearsal space (plot twist, not much).

The next few shots are involved with screenprinting, a new skill I'm acquiring. I've got a shot here of my first art printed via screens similar to what's showcased in this green hand next to it. This green hand is done by my art idol, John Baizley, he's fully my inspiration and one I look up to the most. I also this year got to make my first, screen printed shirts on my own, using my new industry standard screen press. This design is worn stoically by big Deadly, Kev (thank you bro ❤️‍🔥)

Lastly is the first selfie I took in 2025, next to the final selfie I took in 2025, I love the difference. Actually fully lastly is the energy I am bringing into the New Year #IYKYK
